The DJ & T Foundation awards two types of grants. They are (1) Spay/Neuter Clinic grants and (2) Spay/Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) Grants. These grants are described below. Please indicate the type of grant for which you wish to apply by placing an “x” in the box next to the grant description on the appication.

  1. Clinic Grant: Granted to 501 (c) 3 organizations that operate low-cost spay/neuter clinics or are planning to open one. Funds are also granted to 501 (c) 3 organizations that operate a low-cost mobile spay/neuter clinic or are planning to start one.

  2. Spay / Neuter Assistance Program (SNAP) Grant: Granted to 501 (c) 3 organizations with established public outreach programs for socialized companion animals with homes or that are planning to establish such a program. SNAP grants cannot be used to spay/neuter foster animals, ferals, strays, animals held by adoption/rescue organizations, shelters or sanctuaries. SNAP grants cannot be manipulated to reduce adoption fees. SNAP grants are approved for public outreach programs for companion animals with homes and for no other purpose. There will be no exceptions.
    • Only non-profit organizations with 501 ( c ) 3 tax exempt designations qualify. Additional requirements are spelled out by the information requested in the Foundation's Application For Grant. The Board of Directors considers each qualifying application.

    • Applications, once received, will be carefully reviewed and your organization will be contacted. This will be in the form of a personal call to confirm information , or by mail.

    • The Foundation expects to see detailed financial information showing the need for a grant. In order to assist us in the decision process, you should suggest the size of the grant you believe to be needed and detail how it will be spent.
