Fitted with 16 removable metal cages and plastic carriers for transport of dogs and cats. - Covers metropolitan St. Louis area
Currently being utilized in a pilot program with the City of St. Louis Health Department- Animal Control. This vehicle parks at different city community centers and picks up dogs and cats brought by owners, transports them to clinic for spay/neuter surgeries and returns them to community center at end of day.
Present staff: One driver, one animal control officer and one community coordinator.
